Rated 5 out of 5 by Boromadness from Amazing Quality Owned these boots for a year and a half. I've put them through heck and back. Worn them just about everyday. Working on the farm. Walking in mud, sawdust, concrete, dirt, slinging hay. From 20 degrees to 105 they're the most comfortable I have owned. I've walked 20+ miles in these boots in a day and I am a flat footed guy. Had no pains or aches in my feet afterward. Heck they even shine up nice if you're going out. I just replaced these today with the waterproof version. They still have plenty of life left in them and I will continue to wear them along with my new pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ChrisLE from Decent boot. That being said, I am not a pro at wearing boots. I only wear them for work in the oil and gas industry. My job isn't that of a rig hand but I do walk for work about 3 miles a day. I've had my boots for about 5 months and the upper rubber on the sole is cracking where the boot bends at the toe on both. Also, the mid cushion at the same area is separating from the top and bottom. I really liked these boots, but the way I work I need to have a stronger sole construction with the same level of comfort. I know, I can't have my cake and eat it too, but one can dream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Joey from Good styling and comfortable but poor stitching I find these boots run a little big. I usually wear a 10.5 but the 9.5 fit just fine. They felt great after only a couple days of break-in. I work in a machine shop so I'm walking on concrete and metal shavings all day and the soles have held up pretty good. My only complaint is the stitching. About one year after purchase, they started splitting on the outside of the boots, right behind the balls of my feet where the boots bends when I kneel down. If they would reinforce those kinds of stress points I would rate these boots 5 stars all day long.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Krodawg from comfortable but weak construction I tried these boots on in the store and they were very comfortable, it's almost like they were broken in already. The soals really are great for work on hard surfaces and jumping on and off trailers, equipment etc. Sadly, less than a week after purchasing them, I shoveled for about 4 hours and the right heel walked over to the point that they were no longer wearable. Great boots, but I think that the extra comfort and shock absorbsion in the heels comes at a price to the strength of the boot. If you are going to work these boots really hard I would not recommend buying--I've owned other Ariats in the past and I could not get them to break down after years of use, I will end up grabbing my old reliable Quickdraws out of the closet and using Dr. Scholls with them for added comfort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by troy from Worst boots i've ever owned or heard about. Wanted these boots from the moment I saw them, looked great, looked tough, but just four hours into my first shift wearing them at work, the sole of the boot has completely separated on the left boot, the right boot has the beginnings of heading the same direction, first and last Ariat product I will ever purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Slanted from Questionable durability I have 4 pair of these boots. The first 2 pair were amazing. Comfortable, durable and nice looking. I wore them nearly everyday for 2 years before replacing them. The last 2 pair have not been as good. While they are still the most comfortable shoes I own, the durability is lacking. After less than 6 months one pair is coming apart on the inside. The other has torn where the heel meets the upper in the back (where the elastic is sewn in). For those reasons I would not buy another unless improvements were made.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Trucker from Poor construction I like my boots but after a short 4 months the inside heel leather (very thin) wore through and now it rubs blisters on my heel. I have a gravel trucking business and these boots should have lasted longer than they have. I doubt the place I purchased them will do anything about the issue.
